I studied English literature at UCL in the mid- to late-90s but spent most of my time in a darkroom rather than a library. I was offered a freelance contract with the Guardian in 1999 and have continued to work with them ever since, covering mostly portraiture, features and the arts. I am an official Bafta photographer and am working on an ongoing behind the scenes reportage on their various awards ceremonies. I’m also working on two long term personal projects based in America.
